Canceling account: To close your account at Coastline your must use our online form at www.coastline.com/cancel.  If you move your domain to another host or let your domain registration expire, it is still your responsibility to cancel your account at Coastline to avoid monthly charges. Accounts paid for a year in advance may cancel within 30 days for a complete prorated refund. After 30 days no refunds will be issued.

The Fine Print...
Two free months apply to first domain
Each additional domain will be billed immediately to your credit card on a prorated basis.  Our normal billing period commences on the first of the month.
Subdomains and Aliases Not Subject To Free Trial Period
Subdomains and aliased domain accounts are not subject to the free trial period and are billed on a prorated basis at signup. Subdomains & aliased domains are pointed to the root of primary domain. If they need to point to a subfolder of the primary domain, then they are charged as a regular account.
Upgrading/Downgrading/Closing Plans
You can change plan types at anytime using your control panel or contacting our Customer Service Department. A one-time $15 plan change fee applies to both upgrades and downgrades between all plans. Repeated opening/closing of accounts are subject to a one-time fee of $15 for each account closed.

InterNIC's Domain Name Fee:

New accounts applying for domain names ending with .COM, .ORG and .NET will receive a bill at their mailing address from the U.S. domain agency InterNIC for a registration fee of $35, which covers the first year of domain name ownership then $35 per year thereafter. New accounts moving an existing domain to our server will not be billed an initial registration fee by InterNIC. New accounts applying for internationally-specific domain names (for example www.sydney.au) are required to register their own domain names directly with their country's domain agency.

Credit Card Declined Fee:

If your card is declined during a monthly re-bill, Coastline is charged $6 by the financial institution as a service charge.   Coastline in turn will relay this charge to you and notify you via email that your credit card has been declined so that you can address the issue with your card issuer. There is no extra fee if your card is declined because your card has reached its limit.

All technical support and accounting questions will be answered through our web page submission form and through e-mail. Telephone calls with technical support and accounting questions will be directed to use our online web page forms. Our technical support web page is located at www.coastline.com/support. Internet Access Required:

It is assumed that all users already have access to the Internet before opening an account. Internet access is required to receive e-mail and update web pages. Internet access is not provided.

Excess Monthly Web Traffic:

Web sites that exceed their monthly web site visitor traffic maximums will be billed $15 per 1,000MB. Most web sites use far less than the maximum allotment.

Unsolicited Commercial E-mail / Adult Material:

Accounts may not send or advertise the use of unsolicited commercial e-mail (SPAM). Accounts that violate this rule will have their account closed. Adult web site material or pornography is not allowed at any time on the Coastline web servers.
